Gixxer 2004 forks on a TLS Questions

Have any of you TLS owners installed '03-'04 Gixxer 1000 forks on your TLS? If so, how radical was the turn in difference? I have a complete front end w brakes and debating on whether to sell or rebuild and install. Feedback welcome.

I have '04 GXSR 600 forks on my TLS, but I retained the TL triples, so the geometry didn't change drastically. The "turn in" feel has always been more tire dependent for me.
Your 600 forks are the same length as the 1000s, am I correct? I guess to answer my own question I need to raise my current forks 12mm and try riding it for a while. What tires do you use? I have always used Metzler and have felt my bike had to be muscled over into corners and hasn't ever really felt neutral when at lean. It improved significantly with the R1 mod on the rear and a complete RT fork rebuild, but still needs input to maintain lean.
I have the 04 gixxer 1000 forks on mine Get a spacer kit from SAM, then use everything standard. you get spacers for the brake discs, which ive lost the photos of , spacers for the brake calliper fixings and the spacers for the forks. on the forks i used screw driver to hold open the bracket some silicone spray to help the insertion, and a bit of plastic and a hammer to tap the spacers in. .... the plastic did break :) but not untill; the job was done . :) i found turning in a lot better and the braking is a better as well.,

Gsxr600/750 k4/5 forks. 12mm shorter than tls. But gave no issues.
The bike handled a treat. I only removed them to help fund another project

i am running a gsxr 600/750 k4/k5 forks and it was and is a great improvement over OEM in handling and the radial brakes works better too.
Thanks for all the responses. Since there was no negative from any of you I guess I will start the process of rebuilding the forks and brakes. With all the current irons in the fire it might make next winter's project list.
Thanks, guys!
