hi folks
i have fitted six pot front brake callipers to my tls ,but not changed the master cylinder ,i have a terrible rattle from them ,and the out side pads have so much play its unreal ,sounds like a bag of nails when im not applying the brakes,any ideas what to do

I had the same problem with mine and found that it was the dust seals stopping the pistons moving freely so i took them out and no more rattle :)

hi, new to the site today, got a tlr 99, same problem with the brakes, new rotors and sintered pads and rattles like me grannies teeth! will try and clean dust seals on aclipers as suggested!

hi guys... i also had the same prob, im running with no dust seals like alex says... although its always worth looking at the BREMBO goldline conversion...

but that money... removing the seals is easy and works well... also rattling bad can be caused when the disc bobbins loose their little shim over time, they are only there to stop the ratling. i would check each disc to see it its that first.
