was doing the drive shaft seal and clutch seal and noticed a massive dent on the underside of one of the blueflames:banghead
de riveted it and tried to straighten out the tube didn't work!!!!!!!!:coocoo
so is it easy to shorten them by 100mm using a grinder and re rivet them after cutting down the baffle? easy job? looks it!!

cheers

the hardest part is cutting it straight

yeah I suppose but you could just grind the tube if it isn't perfect?:devious
yeah you could just do that

my bro shortened his and he is a bit thick and did it just fine :laugh

Bog it and paint with wrinkle or hammer coat instead .

Cut mine fine, to be fair though I have a big drop saw at work.

and I cut 250mm off.
Just cut my 2bros cans (stainless sleeves)- they look awesome, though they are only mocked up at present - still need some internal welding. I used masking tape as a guide and cut them with a hacksaw, as I think a grinder is too fast and too agressive. I used a new blade for each can, took my time, turning the can as I went, and after a bit of finishing with a hand file, they have come up almost perfect!
