I am the second owner. I bought it in spring of 1999 with 2400 miles on it
and it shows about 9800 miles right now. Stock gearing is pretty tall- I
have been running -1 tooth on the CS sprocket since shortly after I bought
it, so the actual mileage is probably ~800 or so less than what it shows.

I got into doing track days, bought a 636 for the track, and lost interest in riding mega-power sport bikes on the street.

Mods:

Carbon fiber tank protector
16T counter shaft sprocket (still have the stock 17T)
Clip-ons off of a TLS- they are slightly taller than the stock TLR
Clip-ons (still have the stock TLR bars)
Home made TRE - This made a huge difference in torque in the lower
gears.
Rifleman’s 1/5th turn throttle insert

I can't think of anything else. It still has the original rear sprocket
and chain, neither show any wear that I can see. It still has the original
battery and appears strong- I keep a Battery Tender on it most of the
time. It has been stored indoors with a cover over it since I bought it.
It has seen rain maybe a couple of times max. Some minor scratches on the
rims from changing tires and a couple of very small dings/chips in the
paint on the fairing that you really can't see from 3' or 4' away. I am extremely anal about maintaining and taking care of my stuff. I promise, you will not find many TLR’s that look like this one.

Bike is located in Charlotte, NC.

PM me with questions. There are higher resolution pics of the attached pics in my garage.

$4800

Thanks,

Chuck
