I don't think it is even possible. The I4's sit transversely, making the bikes very wide. The twins are usually pretty narrow, so I doubt it would fit.

If you really want a gixxer motor, get a gixxer, it would be easier, cheaper, and make a better bike than the hybrid.

if you like the look of the tiller just get gixxer 1k and modify the tiller plastic to fit the gixxer.

Nope, not happening ... but do us a favour and ask the question on gixer.com, the results should be hilarious

Hey tiller1000, the SRAD GSXRs aren't too bad to swap if you are prepared, my mate JV did it several times during the TT a couple of years ago, to race in more classes...

:O Close this thread and send it to Gixxer.com or any other non
TL site :rant

And why not put 4 TL motors in a viper instead :confused

Hmm, what about a TLR engine in a GSXR chassis? :devious

All you'd need is a 20-ton press to squeeze the spars closer together and you're done! Right? It's like lego isn't it? :coocoo
Hmmm, how about side by side TL motors in a Gixxer frame. 250HP V4!

Oops, that was out loud wasn't it?

Anything can be done with enough time, money and jury-rigging. If you're asking whether or not anyone here has done it the answer is no.

hey, maybe the guy just has an I4 1000 sitting around, and wanted to know if it would fit in a TLR.....you guys are harsh

but I would think that it is not possible.

go with fitting TLR plastics on a gixxer...you could probably get Hammerit to make some plastics for you...but it will most likely cost quite a bit

Well the idea isent all that bad :O
But I would rather fit a TLR engine in a gixxer frame :hail
