Hi. i am about to get me and couple of my friends my custom exhaust protectors/sliders made.
Unfortunately but i got to test them big time couple weeks ago and could say they did their job well. they also saved my exhaust cans couple times when i forgot to put my stand down and one time when the bike fell while i fail lifting it on the stands.
So for all those whom has bolt-on exhausts cans i highly recommend these protectors.
i think pictures speaks for themselves so here they are:
THE SLIDERS.

they actually quite gives a bling factor too:

(You can find more photos to get a better look from different angles in my Photo gallery from trackdays http://www.tlzone.net/forums/bike-pictures/122890-tls-ged-ridouts-14.html or in my photobucket gallery.)

TESTING THE SLIDERS.

The sliders prevented from this or worse that happened to my buddy:

I have to recommend using sliders.. This is why:

That's my full M4 system after I binned it on the highway north of Stockholm. I just changed the midpipe for 40-50 or so bucks, and the muffler slider. Instead of the muffler for I never asked how much...

This looks like a pretty option too - if I had bolt-ons I'd get it for sure. Much nicer than my wrap-around plastic, which granted does its job, but also hides that beautiful carbon work a little..

those strap-on sliders looks to be a great thing for those with slip-on mufflers. how much $$ are they?
Mate, it looks like your chain needs changing or cleaning at least ;)

Great, I'll take a set; the ones on there came with the bike and are so big and positioned such so that my knees bang on them! Hence the padding.....
