Never really thought of my nuts! But they are my friends... They are going to be pretty hot anyway, as the fans only turn on at about 107 C. I'll pull one and see how it goes. I reckon they are over radiated anyway. Thanks for your inputs. Cheers.
Just one question Why take the fan off??? its not like you'll get a massive performance boost but if things go wrong they'll go very wrong very quickly!!!
My TLR sits in the mid 80's (Celsius - 185F) no matter what the air temp is once its warmed up. Untill I stop, then it starts to climb. Hit 99C the other day, I got worried and lane split to get some airflow. So I shouldn't worry if the fans only supposed to come on @ 107C?
My R1 runs in the 50's when its cold out & 70 - 80ish when its hot. Any reason the TLR runs hot & constant?
There's no need to worry about your engine running in the high 90's The engineers at suzuki saw fit to switch the fans on at 107°C so obviously the engine can tollerate a little heat! The ECU doesn't switch to the hot map untill 80°C so there's a near 30° "normal" operating range! :thumbup
