Hi, would really be grateful for any help. After many years, the frame has cracked on my tl. The bottom damper bolt sheared and fell off and the extra stress has cracked the top bolt housing on the frame.

Does this mean the end of the bike or can I by pass this part of the frame by fitting an aftermarket shock ?

Grateful for any help.

thanks, so with that shock I can take out the rotary unit and the bitubo fits on the side if I'm right ?

Yep, fit a bitubo and you are good to go. Once one bolt goes the force on the remaining one is tremendous. Its for this reason that most here reccomend checking the bolts very frequently

The bitubo replaces the SOAS so eliminates the troublesome mounts all together:deal
