The guy is a local DC area rider. I met him at the last Dyno day and talked for a bit (he was lined up in front of me). He had mentioned heading out to Bonneville to run his ZX12R. This is his report...

Running 200 mph on salt is a helluva achievement. You can't compare it to pavement.

Can't remember, but could be. :laugh He pulled the high this year for the unlimited class.

I finaly got to the link - its not the same guy (the guy from a year ago was older and the bike was turbo'd). Super cool all the same:thumbup I'm kinda surprised the record hadn't been set already given the huge numbers of tweeked busa's and ZX's on nos surely some of them can break 200 on salt - I guess they just never tried:O
