Your new chain in box will come with surplus links. Fit rear wheel around midway in axle slot and roll over new chain over both sprockets to see how many links need to come off. I'm running 17/39 and had to remove 6links. Always important to give yourself an extra link. Don't cut it to short. If your worried about doing this job take it to a bike shop because its not worth ****ing around with a wrongly fitted chain which can end in catastrophe.
I know on a TLS you can fit 17/40 (busa rear sprocket)
with the stock chain length. 104 links. I suspect the tlr is the same but can't confirm. This configuration puts the wheel spindle right at the front of the slots in the swinging arm. Get a chain 2 links bigger I'm sure it'll be ok with 17/41.
