What a way to go. An impressive double win (and pole position). :hail

Better to retire a World Champion and still winning races rather than just fading away IMO.

Scored a bonus Alfa 159 for his 7 poles this season too.

Besdies him blitzing the races, the rest of the racing was pretty good. Typical Superbikes.

very true.........bayliss very much a legend. His lad looks as though he has inherited the racing spirit too

While I agree with what Steve wrote, it's still a pity to see him retire. He was SO spectacular to watch, for me THE superbike rider of the last years.

And he managed to escape with really only losing a finger. Not like Foggy and ****...
