Can some one tell me if we have a manual online i can download and where is it, i changed my system to win7 and when i came to put stuff back on it said the file was corrupt.
i had a look at your site while i was there you must have put hrs of work in on it, viewed your dyno vid as well, have you still got it, and how accurate is it, like the way its mounted on the trailer, you could make a bit of cash with something like that, mobile dyno good idea.
The site isn't too hard to manage, I don't do much to it these days. I sold the dyno to another nut a while ago, he's a drag racer and uses it to test.
It was repeatable, so it was 'accurate' but all results were in Stevepowers
The number only means something when compared with another number after making a change. i.e Run #1 = 1.00. Make a change if run #2 = 1.03 then the change is good. it doesn't matter if it was 3HP, 30HP, 3kW, 3PS or 3 steve powers. If I ran two bikes back to back then bike #1 = 1.00 and if bike #2 = 0.98 then #1 has more power.
The HP readings were high. When I 1st ran my old TLS on it I wanted it to have 120HP so I said that was 120HP (or 120 StevePowers) everything else if relevant to that
I never made a cent off the dyno, had a lot of fun with it, had a lot of TL's on it, sold it for less than the materials alone would cost. The real fun was the 3 years designing, building and testing it. Got some info on it here >> http://wotid.com/dyno/ Got videos of a few members bikes on youtube here >> http://www.youtube.com/user/wotid1
