" AUSTIN, Texas(AP) Freshman Colt McCoy got Texas in the end zone, tying the score against Ohio State late in the second quarter Saturday night.
McCoy's two-yard touchdown pass, caught by Billy Pittman, tied the score at 7-7 in the battle of the two top-ranked teams.
Ohio State is ranked No. 1. Texas is ranked No. 2
Earlier, Troy Smith found Anthony Gonzalez in the end zone late in the first quarter from 14 yards out to put Ohio State on the board.
Texas kick-started its run to the national championship with a 25-22 win in Columbus last year. The loss bumped the Buckeyes into the pack and created a season of frustration for a team that had title hopes of its own.
Texas (1-0) has won 21 straight games, three against teams in the top 10."
So by that definition if Texas is retarded then Ohio has Downs Syndrome. :fingerlol
Hell yea, now your talkin...but they don't play till Sunday.tetanusShot said:Go BUCS!
Ok, Now Ohio has graduated to the Retarded level. :lolCOLUMBUS, Ohio(AP) Fires were set in trash bins and couches left outdoors were set ablaze near Ohio State University's campus following the No. 1-ranked Buckeyes' 24-7 win over No. 2 Texas on Saturday night.
The fire department put out more than 30 fires in the area, Battalion Chief Kevin O'Connor said early Sunday morning. Five people were arrested in connection with the fires, but there was little property damage, he said.
O'Connor said he and two other people were hit by a car that came through a temporary command post set up in the driveway of a university student union. The two others, an Ohio State official and her husband, were being treated at Ohio State University Medical Center for minor injuries, and he was treated at the scene for bumps and bruises, he said.
No other major problems had been reported in the campus area, a city police dispatcher said.
The victory keeps the Buckeyes (2-0) in perfect position for a run to a college football national title. Texas, which saw its 21-game winning streak snapped, is the defending national champion.
