well basically ive never uptill now owned a v twin .
if i give you a slight history to help u know my style 52 gixxer 03 r1 04 hayabusa 2001 highly tuned zx9r
2005 fireblade so on and i do ride hard and a wannabe stunter as in few wheelies stoppies knee downs so on .
right so ive bought the lovely 97 tls and its awesome but yet its always damp so not attempted anything to hard .
rear shock has been swapped for the bitubo full system but it has no steering damper fitted and afetr hearing all the horry stories (looking at bike im used to ) do i need 1 ???
brake seem very soft maybe just a good bleed ?? clutch dont like fininding neutral when running

Clutch.
First check the pushrod adjustment along with cable and wormdrive,
Steering damper.
With the rear damper changed you shouldn't need one, missus hasn't got one on hers and mine has we40 in it so out actually does feck all. :lol.
Brakes.
If you have the standard 4 pots fit a 5/8 master cylinder. Or change to a different caliper. Quite a few recommendations on here.
