According to them, they will work just fine for the TLR. Or any four stroke for that matter.

Same deal as the GSXR setup. Keep the old guages and plug them in when you want to check codes. Similar to a car really.

They are popular for MX -> street conversions. Basically a fancy bicycle computer - at leat for the MX ones you install a small magnet and sensor on your front wheel to read speed and I think they have an option for a tach-input. Should work on anything with wheels and a spark-ignition motor I'd think.

Usually they have a spiffy rotor bolt/magnetic sensor that replaces one of your rotor bolts, then there's a little pick-up that some how attaches to your caliper - so if/when you send pics, be sure to have pics of the lower fork leg/caliper/rotor bolts handy. I think TLDV8 posted a diagram with the length, thread pitch etc of the rotor bolts some time ago - might be worth a search:O

good luck

They got back to me with this :

Mark,
I would say you will have the best luck with the 75-200. I can make no
promises since the kit is not designed for that certain bike however it
would be most likely the one that will work. I have included a pic of a
install.
Thanks,
Chris @ Trail Tech

Any UK outlets at that price?

I've been looking at the same one for my TL1000R streetfighter conversion, except in UK the cheapest I could get was 80 pounds from Moore speed racing. At $99 that's a bargain. Any one in UK know of a cheaper price that 80 pounds?

On the detailed info link, there are a couple of pics of the dash mounted on a quad. It looks fairly substantial to me:O
