So I'm looking at my tatty o/s heel plate and finks I gotta replace that cos it looks shite ... Come to that the pegs aren't pretty and the peg mounts have lost their finish and are minging. Then you notice the brake pedal and the gear change lever and it gets you thinkin ... I need rear sets. I do? Yeah ya know it makes sense. But it don't it don't at all ... So I'm going the M&P route billet peg mounts, billet pegs some aftermarket gear and brake pedals and some nice Zero Limits carbon heel plates. That'll sort it. :O

It's an illness. I just can't stop. All the phases I'd promised to work through are blending to one big feckin programme of refurbishment. I need help to release me from the menace of these wretched bikes. :eek
There's no cure. Thank god
it's the only bike you can actually improve. And that makes it special

So I got bored and decided to buy some bling for it .... MFW foot peg mounts, foot pegs and brake pedal and gear lever. Cheaper solution than rear sets ... Hopefully they'll perform as good as I hope they they look.
Well most of it arrived ... But not all of it ... Gear lever on back order :bawling
Still very taken with the quality ... and I'm loving these carbolook brake lines. :yumyum

Zero Limits package came today .... beautiful little carbon fibre heel plates. My kinda stuff this. Bit more industrial (thicker) than ya ordinary CF parts for racing but I'm real pleased with 'em. Ya'll know what heel plates look like but as soon as I've got my gear shifter I'll post a pic of the whole assembly .... GYSOT!!!!
I was looking at buying those too but am going to wait and get the heat shields and heel plates at the same time to save on postage. They charge £7.99 which seems really steep considering the bits weigh next to nothing! How do they come? In a mahoosive big box?

Hmmm ... spent a couple of hours with my bikes today. Adjusted they chain on the Daytona ... decided to fit my foot brake lever and peg. Hopefully the gear shifter comes this week and I can that sorted too.

The pegs and levers are by a German company called MFW. I got them from M&P in the UK.

I'm afraid I don't know. It may be worth asking MFW direct .... They have an English aspect to their website.

Well, i think the brake does, but TLS has a cable clutch and TLR hydralic..

No it's the gear lever and brake foot pedal that he's after.
Oh... My bad.. :cheers
Don't know if this adds any answers but the shift arm for the lever fits the clutch in the same location. I have an S with an R motor and the shift mechanism from my stock S lines up perfectly to the R clutch location. Like Jonstorp said the R has a hydro clutch but the locations are the same (I have a cable S clutch on an R motor). So as long as the frame mounting point is the same ( ??? ) the shifter would line up. Probably doesn't help at all. :laugh

well im looking to see if the rearset levers (gear & Brake) can be interchanged with a S to a R? it should matter if its cable or Hydro

Yes, the S and R rearsets and foot levers are interchangeable. They have the same mounting points and use the same levers. Also, they are not impacted by the clutch arrangement.
