......last year at exactly this time of year, a week before xmas my TL1000s droped it's second gear.............new motor quickly sourced and fitted before xmas.

This year on exactly the same week, my TL1000s/r dropped it's first gear....having trouble courcing cheap motor so looks like I'll have to wait untill a cheapo one pops up on ebay.

Or

A mate of mine who is a bike engineer with 100 years experience has offered the use of his workshop and race bike engine special tools to strip down and rebuild said shagged motor!

Do I wait for a cheap motor and possibly expect this to happen at the same time next year or do I rebuild what I've got?

Or

Sell the unreliable Suzuki heap of crap and buy a cheap Fireblade?

I'd probably buy a new engine, but that's just because I'm impatient.
