Hi everyone

i`m looking to strip, clean and rebuild my 4 pot calipers has my 6 pots are playing up so i`m thinking of putting them back on but might end up doing both.

can you give me a good place/site to get the complete seal kits for both calipers, I think at the mo just seals has the pistons look unless i can get the full kit at a good price inc pistons.

thank you.

I cant tell you where but someone on ebay was doing 6 pot rebuild kits for £24.I looked into doing them the suzuki parts way & decided to leave them in the garage after it worked out to nearly a hundred quid by the time i replaced the pads as well.

I'm in the same boat as you - stripped my 6 pots down and thinking about new sets of seals....damned expensive. If you're prepared to go the non Suzuki way, what Foz mentions is cheap but you need to get a recommendation I guess.:O I recall that SteveC - a member here could get Suzuki seals sets for about £60 but I think he sold his TL and don't know if he's a member still - could be worth pm'ing him? :confused

Seal Kits

Can I put in a plug for Craig Davies at the GPZ Zone?

http://www.gpzzone.co.uk/acatalog/index.html

He specialises in parts for the Kawasaki GPZ900R, but can get stuff for modern bikes. He will get you a Japanese seal kit made by a firm called Tourmax. As far as I am aware, late model 900Rs use the same 4 pot seal kit as a TL1000.

I've used them without problems.:)

Very nice bloke to deal with. Tell him I sent you.
