On Sam's sprocket ratios (TL1000S) chart, 16 / 40 104 links.but thats not going to tell me if a 16 40 combo will allow me to use a 104 link chain![]()
I'll throw out useless info like Jonstorp. :rotflI just fitted 17/40 and was told by my suzukidealer to get a 106 chain.. To get about 40 mm slack (when on rear paddockstand) i had to adjust the rear blocks so five markings are showing.. Dont know if this helps..

I think I will try the 16 front sprocket
