'05 Aprilia Tuono

There's a 2005 Aprilia Tuono with huge exhaust pipes and shorty mufflers at my local dealer, marked way down for winter. About $3999. Very tempting.

I beter look more carefully, it's probably a V2 Falco, certainly not a V4 Tuono. I've got a lot to learn, haven't paid attention since the RSVR mille.

Got me all excited for nothing! Planning a trip back to Cali to see my mom and would have loved to trailer a V4 Tuono back to Florida.

It's probably an '05 Tuono--they weren't Falcos or V4 Tuono's back then IIRC. They were roughly based on the Mille R of the time. 60 deg v2 rotax, awesome bikes. Fairly comfy, great running.

it's an awesome bike. Those engines are pretty much bullet proof.

much better bike compared to TL. prefer the Ohlins /brembo, OZ wheel version.

I had an 03 they are great bikes. The electricals have issues from time to time, and the rear brake can be a PITA to maintain. But they are solid fun scooters.
