I haven't started tearing the bike down yet to access the issue, so this thread is more of a preemptive strike of sorts. Was riding home the other day and noticed my clutch lever was becoming very spongy. I'd pull it all the way in to shift, then it just sort of took its sweet time returning to...

Hi all ! Can anyone give me a few pointers , I've got a tlr clock conversion on my s and have an amp to boost the signal closer to the 12v needed from the standard 5v ecu signal. The problem is I'm only getting 1v from the ecu not 5v ? So the amp hasn't got enough to boost . Hope some of you...

TLR OEM gauge cluster. MPH version. Shows 19,380 miles. Good condition, no damage to housing or lens, only some light rub/abrasion marks on the face of the lens from normal wear and tear. I just plugged it in and it lighted up no problem (as seen in the pic). I have not mounted it up with a...

Hi, I've just bought a TLR (UK riders please check my other posts; I'm looking for the original owner) and I have a query. I was told by the dealer that the previous owner had 'changed the gearing' and that I should be aware that when the speedo says I'm doing 70, I'm really doing 80 - and...

So I had the SV gauges' speedo working and I moved the wires to get the backlight working and now my speedo is acting all crazy. It reads zero while riding but would display a small number when I came up to a stop. Eventually I realized that it only works while the bike is at IDLE!:dowhat I...

I just got my speedo corrector kit from Vegemite land. Slick looking kit. I'll be assembling the unit and testing it on my bike in the next week or so. The board measures 4.3" x 2.4" (105mm x 60mm). I'm planning to encase mine with a large piece of goo-filled heatshrink, but it could also be put...

Time to buy a speedo healer after going +2 a couple months back. I guess I kinda like the feeling of knowing exactly what speed I'm going and I don't really like the whole inaccurate odometer/tripometer either. Any recomendations as far as quality and price? I found this on Ebay...

Hi guys Since i have the bike my speedo has been acting up. At the start it would dance with revs, work but read to high or just lie at 0. Since then though it was started to work consistently, though read high. Example: at 75mph it's reading about 95-100mph. I changed the speedo sensor but no...
