I took the the pair valve off this morning and plugged the steel lines. I was wondering what to do with the larger hose coming out of the back of the pair valve? It connected to the oil seperator between the V. The rear cylinder vents into this thing. I made a little catch bottle, plumbed the...

So, I'm to the point where I need to cap off the elbows to the throttle bodies. Instead of using two caps I decided to run a piece of the rubber hose I removed. Cut the ends off, cut to size and routed as best I could. See any problems with the route I've used? -Matt

So, if you're going to remove the PAIR system from your TLR, you're going to have fun getting to the rebreather tube/fitting on the rear cylinder. I was going to plug the tube on the far end, but since I had already fabbed up some block off plates, it was just mocking me. After numerous failed...

Okay, while her pants are down I figured I'd rip out the PAIR system and Kalifornia gas vapor box. So I'm following the official guide on the PAIR removal, which was a big help. Whipped me up some block off plates from some left over bungie bracket bits from my ZX14. Front plate installed...

I'm anal and wouldn't stand for clamping off the rear tube. But damn, that bottom bolt on the flange, by the head is a b*tch to get to. No way I'm gonna pull the motor to get these things on. So the rear cyl exhaust was pulled, and the damper unbolted (for visibility)... The top nut came off...

So I removed the pair valve on my tlr and it went from a good running bike to breaking up alot at high rpm and full throttle. I was thinking maybe the vac line that went to the pair valve should be left open instead of plugged? Its plugged with a golf tee right now. Any ideas:banghead?

So since I have a 1997 TLS Head on my front cyclinder that means I only have half of the PAIR vavle system working. :O When I put that head on I remember blocking that hose off that went to the original head because there was no place to attach the hose on the 97' head. So what all do I have...
