I have a 97 TLS with 6 pot callipers from TLR fitted, how can i visibly tell if i have the right 5/8 ths master cylinder upgrade fitted or old 1/2 inch m/c.Are they both round? are the fixing brackets different? thanks.:confused
Out of curiousity, has anyone put the bigger TLR master cylinder on the Tokico 4 pot calipers? I would be interested in knowing what your results were. I am in the process of having a set of 6 pots powdercoated, and I thought I might try the new mc on my old 4 pots.
Is there an ideal ratio between m/c bore and total caliper piston area?
I've just bought one of these for the racebike (GBmoto copy of an APracing rear caliper):-
and I want to get the best (used?) m/c to suit it
I could use the oe TL one if it's right, but I would prefer to get the best...
TLS - WP springs up front - standard discs and calipers
Is it worth it?
Brembo pads ... worth it?
Yes another winter project (greatly funded by Christmas combined prezzies from the family)
I am looking for a rear break master cylinder for a TLS. 97. I can buy an OEM but its damn expensive. So I was hoping for a little help here. What other year or make will replace this master cylinder.:O It almost looks the same as the TLR.:O
I'm needing a rear brake caliper and master cylinder for an 02 gsxr600, and it appears to be the same as what's on my TLR. I'm also watching prices and what's available on ebay but I'd put more trust in member on here. I'd prefer that decent pads are included, and I've already got a brake line...
I have my TLR front master cylinder in good working condition with OEM home made shorty lever.
I also have a OEM stock lever for it.
If You have a TLS cable clutch You can also have the matching shorty lever to go with it.
Price is $95.00 shipped to 48 for everything in the pic.
This bike has been sitting for two years possible more and i was checking over everything and the fist thing i noticed was no pressure in the brakes or clutch levers. I tryed bleeding them but not even a drop was comming from the bleeder valves. I took off the banjo bolt from the m/c and NOT...
My TLR recently sat for about 2 weeks while it was being painted, and now I have no rear brake... There is fluid in the resevoir, no signs of any leaks, and fluid comes out of the bleeder on the caliper. It has always worked fine in the past, but now it feels like the whole piston is gone out of...

I have been told a Suzuki GSXR 1000 K5/K6 front master cylinder will fit the TL1000R, I have braided hoses and standard calipers, I'm not flush with cash at the moment.:O:O
and I have been told this will make a good improvement on the standard.
Any advise would be...
i have just fitted a brembo radial clutch master cylinder and hel braided line
to my bike.:hail the difference is night and day compared to the stock one.
the lever pull is so light its like its not even connected up, even with barnett springs. thanks MR_Korrupt for posting up about this.
I didn't know there is a more expensive type of Nissin radial master cylinder available. Unfortunately its way too expensive($700 Aus) just like all the other great parts on this site.
Its probably been listed before but this site it worth another look.
