    TRE for '97 TLS

    Looking at TRE for my '97 tls, only finding them listed for '98 onwards is this a problem?

    If it is for a '98 it wont fit. There was a discussion on this recently - search it out and you'll find you can make an active TRE for about 1$ and a soldering iron.

    Great thanks,

    so to confirm before I burn the bike/house/neighbourhood down.

    I simply need to cut the red(pink) wire and fit a 6.8k ohm resistor inline?

    This is on a 97 TLS.
