    Hello

Hi, I'm new to the site and new to V-twins. I have a 98 TL1000R

that a previous owner converted to a Cafe Racer. It has Microns,

a K&N air filter and a PC3. The site has helped me already - and

i will be asking more questions

Welcome to the site! That's an interesting looking bike, not sure why there are so few cafe racer'd TLs out there

The fact that they're ugly as f--k would be my first guess. Might as well chrome it out and slap a 10 foot extension on there to finish it off.

Like my TL I'm old, overweight and badly maintained but I can still surprise you by how fast I can move.

    Welcome to the forum Red7!

I have a similar TLR project in the works, but it is moving very slowly as of late.....

Don't let Josh scare you. He actually loves all TLRs, and he would probably gladly convert yours back to OEM, at his own expense, if given the chance.
