    Gaskets/parts needed for gearbox swap

My TLR first gear is toast and I have the opportunity to get a known good set of gears/shafts to swap over. I'm trying to be as cost effective as possible. What are the bear minimum gaskets/parts/special tools needed to get the job done safely? Engine has 20.5K miles on it.

I'm in the same boat but with an S, so I'm interested to see what's recommended!

You will need to tear down the whole engine and split your cases to get to them..... Honestly I was in the same boat and found a new engine for under $500 shipped with 11K on it...
