Went out for oil and a filter...came back tarded!

I was out running around today and stopped into the local stealership for oil and a filter for the TLR. I didn't mean to leave owning a second motorcycle but they had it in the right color and the price was okay. Now I'll be shipping 2 bike to Germany next month...

Woo Hoo! Tarded up. Get you some of them German SM parts when you get over there. Woo Hoo! Be sure and go to the DR-400 section of Thumper Talk and learn all about your new toy.

It should end up something like this...........

Hope you don't fall into what happened to TLurker. Shipped his bike to Germany then shortly thereafter he got deployed to Iraq. Sux.

A Kourier has to establish space on the pavement. Predictable law-abiding behaviour lulls drivers. They mentally assign you to a little box in the lane, assume you will stay there, can't handle it when you leave that little box.

Y.T. is not fond of boxes. Y.T. establishes her space on the pavement by zagging mightily from lane to lane, establishing a precedent of scary randomness. Keeps people on their toes, makes them react to her, instead of the other way round.

The assignment I picked up is not the norm. I shouldn't see another deployment to anywhere sandy.

The mod process has already started... I have to fix the factory faux pax, ordered a tach last night. Gotta have it.

Funny, never really needed it with that bike myself. It was odd at first but you get a feel for it. Plus, you know when you've run it out...did that once or twice. Factory faux pax is that tail light. But I had a hard time finding something that would properly illuminate in the crazy Dallas traffic that looked good enough to mount on there.
