i used here once.. they give ya 5 MB of traffic all free a day.. but mine went on a busy thread and was used in less than a 1/2 hour

As many probably know, the nice little feature we have here for attaching an image to a post uses quite a bit of bandwidth not to mention some space too.
Linking an image into a post does not affect us in the same manner, so it is the preferred method of showing TLP your pics.
However, most free web based image hosts do not allow off-site linking.
If anyone has or nows of one that does or just knows of a good hosting site please post it here. This thread is not for discussion of the topic however, please limit your posting to actual image hosting site information.
I will start the list with a nice one that I have used some, it was originally posted by a fellow member "duztin". Thanks duztin!
This one is free and allows linking, be kind and make a small donation to them if you can afford it.

I pay $20 a year for 50Mb or 500 pics. I haven't had any problems using their services. I upload all of my pics there and link to them. They even resize the pics when you upload - kind of a pisser at times, but for the most part, it saves me work.
Like I always say, Image Event is the best. I pay $24.00 a year, I paid a one time fee of $19.95 and now I can have up to 3000 images, with a maximum 10 MB per image. Hard to beat! Plus it is really easy to use.
This image is 61 k or so, i could go up to 1 MB on the same image or down too. Very simple and easy to post and there are no adds, or distractions. Plus I can e-mail a whole album to a dial up guy and he can access directly from the thumbnails. Cool stuff. You can also post up .Mpg, .avi and other movie formats........

Interesting timing... seems that attachments closed down Cycleforums for a bit!
Copied from the home page there!

int(10) thanks to vbulletin thinking noone would ever have more than 65535
attachments, haw haw.
Might take a bit to run, then i have to re-check the tables.... still ETR of

I love images. They are helpful and cool.
But this habit of using the "this post is worthless without pictures" emoticon is a habit we need to break.
Attaching images is fine, but keep them small and try to find a host. Simply put, when you get a new pieces part, we don't need 17 angles/posts.
