Anyone managed to bump start their bike? I've had three guys pushing with the bike in 3rd gear and it still locked the wheel up

Never managed to bump start the TL with cold engine on a flat surface
Not a problem if there's a downhill road or the engine warmed up.

Greetings

i would have thought the higher the gear the more chance of compression lockup... 2nd worked for me just running like mad sitting on the bike down a hill. then throttle, starter & let the clutch go. dont let the starter go for a second or 2 just incase the bike decides to be a TL and decide it realy cant do with out the 2 or third push of the starter

Did you find what was causing the battery to drain?
My friend TLR does the same, has already killed 2 battery's.
Can't even ride for more then a few minutes before everything is flat and can't start up again.

Does he have an alarm, cos that will do it. My '97 still has original battery; just put it on tender overnight once a week and all is good.
