Suspension Tuning...

For anyone interested in learning more about the suspension on your bike and how to actually tune it I recommend this DVD:
http://onthethrottle.com/zen-cart/in...&products_id=1
Dave Moss is explaining how everything works. I just watched it and learned a lot from it. I will need to watch it a few times to get all of the concepts down. It is a two disk DVD set. I was really interested in the part where he talks about reading the tire. I went out and took a look at the tires on the TL and saw some of the tell tail signs mentioned in the DVD. So now I at least know what direction to go in tuning the suspension. To me I think this will be a big help. I have yet to apply any of this to a track day but I will as soon as I get a chance. His explainations make sence and there is a lot of good information covered. I think it was the best $25 I have spent in a while. Now I will not be so dependent on "experts" to help me set up the bike. There is also a lot of good information at Catalyst Reaction's site here as mentioned in the DVD: http://www.feelthetrack.com/tuning_guide.htm
Should be time well spent for you...

A few of my pals have had Dave work there suspension. Extremely happy with his work. I have not had him work on mine YET.. just missed him at the last track day..seems he was busy elsewhere. Bummmer for me. anyhow, i heard the dvds were good as well. May have to get them myself, just for the helluvit. I just finished setting my sag and doin my track day. What an INCREDIBLE improvement that made. It was like riding a whole new machine. Yahoooooo!
