Check
What I learned today...
When the engine suddenly dies, says "CHECK" on the clocks, the oil symbol is flashing, the engine won't start, and the ECU doesn't show any codes
Check the Kill switch!
I pushed that mother almost a mile down the dual carridgeway to a layby so I could check the oil glass
Some kind person pulled over to offer assistance, He gave his mate a ring and 10s later the engine was running again.

The oil can always flashes when the ignition is on and the engine isn't running. It also causes the red LED to light up.
It's an oil pressure indicator, not an oil level indicator.
Lot's of people don't take notice of the normal behavior of the bike until something goes worng, then they think the normal stuff is the problem
'CHEC' check the side stand, check the kill switch, not check the oil level or coolant level.
(Although a real low oil level will cause a loss of oil pressure and then the can will flash and the red LED will come on, but the engine will only stop when it's seized - it wont stop because the can is flashing).

Mine has said CHEC for a long time now... But there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with it?
Even took it to the dealer and they couldn't find a thing?

There is something wrong with it as it is supposed to display the engine coolant temperature and not 'CHEC' while chec is displayed you can't set the TPS or read off any fault codes.

It doesn't stay on... it will come on intermittently... It does normally display the temp but from time to time it will say "chec"
