if you ever get the chance to see a bike you sold someone else...
dont do it... lol. pass on it.. just say no. dont go, dont listen to what they tell ya, dont have em describe what it looks like.......
long story short, got hit up on myspace. a guy claiming to have my old 92 kat. i thought bs, then he started telling me about the bike, things i only told the person i sold it too... he lives a mile from me. this is what i saw...
as a start, heres what it looked like the day i sold it and such.....this is the day it left my possesion.....

what it looked like as i owned it...a few pics so you can see the paint.....

heres the bike when i had it apart to work on the carbs.

andddddddddd how it looked when i got to the guys house...

and that sucks, i used to ride my son on that bike...now i wouldnt ride it around teh block...

That thing looks to be in sad shape. Once I bought a YZ125, then sold it shortly thereafter (I had 3 YZ125's at the time...) to a stranger. The dude ended up dating my sister, crashing (while trying to keep up with her) and then tore the bike apart (for no good reason that I could dicern). It sat in bits for a couple of years I guess, then when he was getting evicted he started to throw the bits in a dumpster. My sis called and asked if I'd give him a few bucks for the parts (he needed cash). I did, put it all back together and sold the bike again Both times I made pretty good money on it too.

Hey Josh, something tells me you aren't very fond of this guy
Pity about the Katana Brat, it's gone downhill since you owned it. I hope you don't have to pass his place very often on your way out, it would suck having to see it in that kind of disrepair all the time.

lol, it was odd getting a email on myspace.. then he started saying how he's seen my photobucket pics of the bike. i got there and all my stickers were on it... lol. its strange somepeople just shouldnt own bikes...
id buy it and fix it but i love the tl1000r. it took a good while to get it and itll be in my garage till my son needs a bike. then i'll buy him a tiller. i plan on beeing 90 on a tlr.
and no i dont have to pass it its in his back yard. but its less than a mile from my house... so i pass it with the knowledge its there....... . . on top of that i went to hs with the guys daughter. oddly enough. i'll never have to worry if the tl looks like that bc its not leaving my possesion.
oh and bikepilot i made more on it than i paid for it from my father in law. it was a good bike the ol kat!
