Seattle area riders

The weekend of March 29-30 is the first WMRRA race of the season. I'm organizing a group ride for Sunday the 30th of that weekend. Would love to have a bunch of TL's in the group. Respond here or shoot me a PM and I'll add you to the evite that I have started.

I was just in Seattle last week and saw a yellow TLR parked on the lower street by Pikes Market. Just to say hello I put my business card with my zone user name on the passenger seat, maybe you know this person.

I don't know that guy, but I work real close to that area, so I'll take a drive around and see if I can find'im. If I do I'll leave a card to. If he's not a member getting two cards would have to at least make him a little interested in chekcing it out. Too bad you won't be up here the weekend of the races.

No Worries. It was a great day of racing. Only had 4 guys ride out, mostly 'cause it was really freakin' cold, but had a great time. My TLR, a TLS, Aprilia 250 2-stroke, and a GSXR-600. One of the guys is friends with Eli Edwards, the #1 plate. The next Race is May 3-4. We plan on going again. Shoot me a PM with your email address and I'll be sure to add you to the evite.

Im in the Bothell area, but im in Lynnwood a lot at a friends house who is needing help with a project bike. We always hang out at the coffee stand across from pet smart and barnes & noble down right off the alderwood mall exit.

Im in millcreek/lynnwood area and im looking to purchase a TLR right now. Im down to do some fun rides this spring. This will be my first tiller but my 24th bike. woot !

Just thought I would update this.

I drove from Seattle to Idaho last weekend to pick up the bike of my dreams. The Suzuki TL1000R aka 'tha tiller'
Since the introduction in 1998 thru the end of production in 03' I told myself I would someday own one. This is my 14th streetbike.
Some 250ish dollars later in fuel I have my bike.
Some fuel station in BFE idaho

And my new babe' :agreed: For some reason they are hard to come across in western washtington. I wanted the Blue/White but found this one for a decent price if you exclude my fuel cost. lol

Nice work Jayzee!!!! I think it's almost time for all of us to start taking that ride. The 2nd round of WMRRA races are this weekend @ Pacific Raceways. I can't make it this weekend, but I'll start organizing a ride to the next one(June 14-15)if you guys are interested?

I have friends that race with Adrenelin Junkies thru wmrra.
Im thinking I need a track bike. I dont want to Eff up the tiller.

Ive been riding for 17years but I think its about time that I get some tips from a pro that can help me inprove my stance on the bike for some more agressive riding.
Im going to take it a little easier on this bike, since I lowsided my Gixxer last summer.

Just looking for some fun lower speed riding without squids

I believe we are on the same page. I have ridden for most of my life, but this is my first bike for a number of years. I really want to do a bunch of instruction and track days, but not until I get another bike. Love my tiller and also don't want to thrash my only ride. That's why I go and watch others thrash theirs right now. Looking forward to a ride. I'll put together an invitation for the races in June and see how many TL's we can get together.

Here are the details for tomorrow's ride which was organized by some of the guys over at pnwriders.com:

Meet at the Kirkland Petco (bigger parking lot). The Address
12040 NE 85th St
Kirkland, WA 98033
Meet up time will be 11am, kickstands up @ 11:20am

Looks like there will be two groups: slow and fast. I plan on taking it easy and will probably sweep. Hope you see you on the road.
