Bought my first TLR, Seattle Area...
Hey guys, The name is Chris.
I have been in the Seattle area now for a little over 3 years. Active duty in the
U.S. Coast Guard out of Seattle. I Live up in Everett. Now on to the good stuff,
Just bought my first Tiller, 99 TL1000R <---obviously. lol I already own a 05
GSXR 750 but have always been in love with TLR's. Found one on Craigslist a
few days ago and to me got a EXTREMELY good deal on this one.
Has a few issues, none mechanical. I was noticing that there are a lot of TLR
Seattle riders here... I would love to get to know and ride with all of you
either on the TLR of course... or on my GSXR. Here are a few pics of my TLR
a couple days before I bought it.
Bought the bike for 2k!!
Let me know what you guys think... Also I'm ready to ride...
Chris.

Welcome to the Zone
Sounds like you got a great deal on that bike. I won't be around the Seattle area for any group rides 'till the middle of May, but there are a few others on here from the seattle area... hopefully they'll speak up.

Sounds good. Thanks alot guys.
Here are a few updated pics that I took yesterday after a few things.
Polished the lips on the rear wheel, I will get to the front another day. I also put on rear spools and a hid kit I had laying around, luckily it was a H4 kit, I have another one I just have to get it from a friend. =) Oh and she got a bath
Chris.
