So when I finally buy my TLS, which one of you guys would be so kind as to perhaps come along with me (when I buy) to avoid me getting ripped off!
I have read alot about the bike (obviously) but i'm still unsure of what exactly to lookout for.
I have my eye on TLS about 10mins from where I live. Its a 97, 11000miles, full Akrapovic system, Power comm, Blue printed engine, maxton front fork springs. Ohlins steering dampner and Maxton Rear Suspension
The bike is imaculate - showroom condition. The guys is asking £3900 for it, which may be a little overpriced but i'm sure I can knock him down.
Thing is its been sitting in his shop for a long while, so the way I see it is if the bike is such a good example as he claims then why has it not sold?
You see I have been saving from June 03 and would hate to part with my money on a bad bike!
If any of you guys were to offer your wisdom and advice when I purchase my TLS ( wherever it may be), obviously I would compensate your travel expenses, buy you a beer, lunch and some cash for your services.
Thanks chaps
Cheers

We should all go!!
Perfect idea for the first meet up... can you imagine 16 or so guys turning up on TLR/S's and looking over the bike with a magnifying glass?
Then..."can we have 16 test rides, please?"... The salesman would knock £500 just to get us out of the shop!!!

Oh yes it would...
Considering that I used to be a motorcycle sales manager at a dealership in slough. I THINK we might be able to haggle him down a big. Jezuz, 16 of us...
God forget £500 to get us out of the shop. We could probably all just sit outside bliping the throttles for 10 mins or so and he would knock of a grand
Oh & btw...
- Sickboy = Manchester
- TLSPilot = West Yorkshire
- Guishnu = Highwycombe (nr London)
- TLRTone = Southampton
