'ello buddy. Great to hear that you're nearer home and feeling better. Loads of R and R now then. If there's anything we can do then just let us know and we'll try and help out.

Thanks again folks for all your messages.
I'm feeling a lot better now and can get into a wheelchair although I haven't been properly out yet.
There is talk of discharging me soon - perhaps within the next couple of weeks. It'll be good to be out of here but will mean a bed downstairs, some sort of portable toilet and no bath or shower, presumably til I can use crutches, which I think will be up to 9 weeks from now
If anybody does fancy coming in to visit me I'd be very pleased - might even let you have a grape

Errrrrr ........ definitely more so than the visitors nasal senses
Good to hear you're on the mend I avoided day-time TV by watching pretty much our whole DVD collection again, reading a fair few books, and wasting a fair bit of time here too

Mark, a grope is waiting here for you (I see how your mind works)
Moose, yes a hose down in the garden may be required! Ive already worked my way through three quarters of Posh Johnny's DVD collection. I intend to do something constructive - start learning a language or something. need to get motivated.
Kev, it would be great to see you if you get time to drop in. Its Stepping Hill Hospital, just off the A6. Ward D2, bed 24 (end of the corridor). Visiting times are 2-4pm and 7-8pm but they seem pretty flexible
