estimate done, £4,800.00,
fack i only hit the back of the car at about 20MPH,
insurance won't write it off and are going to repair it, should have it back in a week or two.
just in time for our trip to germany and austria taking in the alps and the stelvio pass.
getting the spots converted to HID while its in there, hoping 3 HID's on the front will just melt any car thats in front of me this time,

I was a bit slow on the uptake with this - glad to hear you're OK Gary. I'd have mixed feelings about the bike - think I'd prefer it to be written off. What state was the car in? I bet you're looking forward to having another shot at your European touring holiday!

gonna be bright, adrias had hers done as well so that'll be 6 HID's coming up behind every vehicle on the road, lets see us get a SMIDSY with them on,
dunno where you're going to in france or how long for but i can thoroughly recommend the Millau area and the gorge-du-tarn for excellent roads and scenery, you can get there in 2 days using a scenic route,it's about 600 miles from calais, and the bridge is awesome

car had very little visual damage really, rear bumper had moved a bit after nearly 400 kilos tried to push it up the road
i was a bit pissed of about them repairing the bike cos i took out a shortfall insurance which means that if the bike is written off at anytime within the first 4 years i own it i'll get back the full price i paid for it, oh well i guess i still have another three years to go
actually i'm not to concerned about them repairing the bike mechanically cos everything that is damaged will be replaced and unlike a normal bike it dousn't have a main frame which can be bent and automatically write the bike off, besides i've crashed the TL three times and still ride it
funny how we both get different bikes and end up having our first crash on the road for fackin years, I'm keeping the TL
get well soon tim,

Glad to hear your alright old boy.

In all fairness, ploughed into the back of the car is probably the best place for a GS. It was probably your subconsious acting on your behalf.
