Gonna Pop my Cherry
Well the time has come for me to go out and pop my track day virginity.. So on june 6th i'm heading out to eastern creek to give it a go.. I got just over 6 weeks to get the bike prepped , first up i gotta set the suspension up properly..
Pretty excited and kinda nervous at the same time, i'm sure the nerves will kick it up a few notches closer to the date.
I'm making a mental note to stay out of the gravel

You'll have a blast, never known anybody do a trackday and not enjoy it
Golden rule is do at least a couple of laps to warm everything (including yourself) up and don't go kamikazi from the exit of the pitlane
Good tyres and pads go without saying, try and have sticky rubber such as Supercorsa Pro's / racetecs etc
If you want to improve quicker, learn braking points, turn in points, apex's and exit points rather than just riding by instinct, you will then have bench marks to judge against and improve on

I've just got a new set of power 2ct's so the rubber won't be a problem..
Yeah, the first couple of sessions will be used to find my feet and just get used to using a track..
I will be taking off my CCC as a precausion .. I can replace the bike if i have too but not waiting around for the next CCC group buy
