Troublesome Clutch Push Rod Oil Seal Fix

Bit Obvious really but the SV1000 Seal is a different design and double sealed.

Same OD as the TLS / TLR one and same ID

Has a top hat shape to it, so the hole in the retaining plate may need enlarging slightly.

Does look a bit beefier, eh? I've been putting together a list of stuff to order and I've just changed one of the items. Thanks, Sam.

So I can just use an sv seal. Is that what I am getting out of this.

I saw it on Ebay and the microfiche said the size was 6x34x10.5

The TLS/TLR Microfiche says 6x34x5.5

I thought no way is the pushrod hole 10.5mm so I bought it to look further.

I've no leaking engine to see if it fits, but with the exception of the raised top hat on the outside the size is the same but much better designed

Maybe one for the frequent mods ?

Sam, the 5.5 in the TL seal is the ID and the pushrod itself verniers at 6mm. If the ID of the SV seal is 5.5, it would be sweet. Its strange that they dont actually specify the SV ID in the seal numbers

Both seals have the same 5.5mm hole for the 6mm pushrod, the 10.5 is the total width of the seal and the top hat is 21.5mm diamter where it will poke through the steel retainer plate.

I think it will work and may give it a try since mine needs to be replaced. Are you sure about the seal measurements though? Seems to me that they mean 6 is the hole diameter, 34 is the overall and 10.5 is the thickness
