Update on 1/4 finished TLR with Aprilia rear
The original thread is here
Here are today's pics.
This is where we started. OEM Pipes with stubby cans
Then after snapping one of the header bolts, fitted the underseat pipes.
Offered up the Aprilia subframe and pastics with the undertail exhaust
Cut 4.5 inches out of the top brace arm of the subframe to bring closer to the tank and lower the unit slightly.
Figured the stubby would look better than that POS Bos end can used as a underseat system.
Rear view
Had a brain fart 2 Cans are better than 1 for filling the space.
Here's how the pipes come in underneath
Need to make a splitter here, or make the main pipes two into two.
Profile view of 2 cans
Plenty of clearance at the backend
Its getting there slowly but surely.

I'd cut the 2 into 1 pipe off the end of the exhaust and go straight to each muffler would look/sound better. probably also turn the end caps/pipe down to complete the dragster look
Starting to look like something eh

Karma much?

Personally dont like the look of the single can but do like the look of the 2 cans. Would go 2 into 2 also need more space between the cans and the tail section or you will melt the plastic in the tail.

Plus you'd need to fabricate a bracket to hold it all together cos that packing tape won't last long
