Would you guys even consider this?
Just as the headline states - would you do this? I don't know about you guys but a backpack is usually sufficient. If I gotta carry a lot of stuff, I'll drive my car. Maybe it's me but this just seems ridiculous - especially the promo picture! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEWAX%3AIT

Would have been handy when I used to carry a toolbox on the pillion seat

Had one for my S,we have a lot of bike rallys down here,a sleeping bag and tent are a must for starters + a change of clothes etc.Back packs just not going to cut it.I can fit everything in panniers but plenty use the packracks though ive never seen one loaded up to that extent.

I just take my LT if I need that much stuff.
I don't think that it is a bad idea but they are way overpriced IMHO.

I would....looks useful but as stated before it is too much for what it is. And the demo pic is more extreme than most would dare.
I have managed to pack as much as I think is possible onto a TL without such a device so while I would use it if it fell out of the sky into my lap I doubt very much that I would buy it unless I won the lottery...
What I would consider more useful and what I would actually pay for (and will if I can find it) is some sort of system that allows for packing behind the pillion seat, a rack of some sort....something that gives me packing space I do not already possess...
Oh and that is a fantastic pic of Josh...was that on yer journey aboard a bandit?

Don't get me wrong, the concept is good - but the demo pic I don't know what this guy was thinking. If I were advertising sexy women's lingerie, I wouldn't stuff a fat chick into it just to show what it's capable of holding!

Somebody on-list made an aluminum-pan removable rack for the TLS that latched on insted of the seat, and made me one with a hoop for me so I could put Ventura bags on. Positioned forward instead of a passenger it was a LOT better than a stock Ventura rack.
