Talking dirty clutch fluid

hey guys and girls
have a small question.
for a year now i have been changing and bleeding the clutch fluid almost every 3 months due to the fluid getting dark and dirty.
Why would the clutch fluid get dirty?
thanks

I thought it was because there wasn't that much fluid volume and it absorbed water quickly...Jeff says it's hose material degrading and clouding the system. Suggested a switch to braided teflon lines would solve the prob. I haven't switched my clutch over to braided lines yet so I don't really know.

I switched to braided lines and it takes about a year to go dark now.

Yep, mine quit getting dark after I changed the hoses to braided. I change it annually now and it still looks good when I do.
