It cost me $ 800.00 For all the paint and materials for all the plastics.
I also had to fix some fiberglass so sounds like you guys got it good.
People say that it would have cost me $4000.00 to have it professionally done so i did it in the back yard. Save some money and spend it someware else.

is going to cost me 5 cartons of beer to have my whole bike resprayed....so i guess that equates to about $220 these days...
real good in OZ...one of the guys paid $2000 to get his bike painted...it is very sexy though (you know who you are....tomez)
plus the shop that did it specialises in mercedes and lexus repairs so the guys are pretty good tradesmen...
no stickers or different colours....just straight 33J novelty pearl black...

I have just done a paint job in 33J on my TLS .
First there are a minimum of 10 different parts that need to be cleaned, de waxed , sanded and repaired and primed where required , re sanded.
Then black base coat on all , takes a while as parts are fiddly . Then a coat of blue pearl followed by 3 coats of clear.
Then for a really spectacular job sand everything with 1500 grit , followed by 2000 then buff with a course compound , followed by a buff with medium , then a fine polishing compound ( hours of work in this ) , then some small part gets flung over the shed by the buffer , so back to square one for that bit... etc. $2000 is about right for a top quality job.
