04 GSXR gauges, do they work on the R?
do the 04 gixxer gauges work on the R?
i've got 01 gixxer gauges already and was wondering if anyone knew if the 04's would work and what features would be available? i think the 04 has a shift light(?) but i'm not sure.
any info much appreciated....

04 Has a shift light yes... Me being a Gsxr guy and I cant remember 100% but I think on the Gsxr's its plug and play so I would assume the same here...

It has a shift light, but the operation of it is a complete pain in the arse. It's a pain to turn on, it's a pain to set.
(I'd really like to be able to be set as low as 4000rpm so it could be used as an overspeed indicator  5K is the lowest IIRC and that's way too late.)

I know it requires a little rewiring I'm just curious if the plugs are the same between the 02 and 04 gauges
