It works very well, geared more for track riders since it is glycol free and easier to clean up from the track in the event of a coolant leak at a crash site.. If you ride on the street, just stay with standard antifreeze or look into Engine Ice. Engine Ice cools as well as Water Wetter but can be left in over the winter. Engine Ice is just pretty expensive going for over $30 per gallon. If you don't do any trck days stick with standard anti-freeze.

Unfortunately Water Wetter is not capable of working through the winter months, it will freeze in the motor if the bike is left someplace without heat. Remember to drain your cooling system before the temperature drops.

I use water wetter also and have had good results... I use it all year as I live in California and it never is cold enough to require antifreeze here. As mentioned above if you live anywhere it gets cold don't forget to change back to normal anti-freeze during the winter.

I just read the boddle and it said that you can run with a antifreeze mix or stright water. Will it make a dif in cooling mixed with a 50/50 antifreeze?

Yep, I run it in everything I own with a 50/50 water anti-freeze mix. It does lower operating temps a bit if you can believe the gauges.

OK OK, may I interate?
It gets HOT in the summer here in E. WA... summer can reach 105F. I was on the hunt for all the tricks I could find... water wetter type stuff. I found at Wal-Mart, A BALKAMP brand product called "RV COOLING SYSTEM ENHANCER"... 1qt red and black can. It does the surface tension reducer gig that WW is known for... about 6.75$ A QT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Prolly at Nappa ( local auto parts)too. We have alot of street rods here too and they SWEAR BY "ENGINE ICE"... traffic, lumpy small blocks, small radiators, and A/C...no wonder they NEED it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have a manual fan on my 00 12r... it shure HELPS to get that fan on, before I come off the slab... STAY COOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Free and clean, Ripp'n

I've used it in various applications in the past, mostly due to track organizations requiring non glycol. Never noticed much of a difference in any streetbike. Many people have installed a manual fan switch, but it's much more common on TLR's than S's. I've seen up to 113 degrees external temp and never had the TL overheat, fans just come on a bit sooner.
