made a color mistake - looking for suggestions

I have a set of Gilles rearsets and they are the anodized titanium color. Should have gotten them in black. Dont want to powdercoat them as they are too pretty, and to re-anodize them is far too costly. Anyone have any suggestions?

Anodizing typically similar cost to powdercoat.
You'll have an extra step though because they'll need to be etched first.
But black is usually cheapest because they always have stuff going on so can 'batch' it. Relative to cost of your parts, it shouldn't be that significant

One thought too is to not do all the parts - especially with the Ti, it would be a nice contrast to do a mix n match on black

Like this, but with your Ti on Black (or black on Ti)

You may be taking a chance getting them anodized; crappy work will fade quickly. OEMs tend to have quality anodizing of their products. So I'd say definitely sell them. List them in the FS section; I'm sure they will sell fairly quickly.

I would just powder coat them....though that's partly because I do my own. Plenty of color/style options out there if you don't want gloss/mid/flat black....

Bohemian Racing here in the Bay Area sells them - they are Chinese but look pretty decent.

That pic above is from an actual user who posted review. (whole review here)

OK - they're not Gilles or Sato - but worth a shot for me at that price.
Got excellent feedback on the Bay Area Riders forum
Here is the thread from the local site with contact info etc.

I'm undecided on black on gold or gold on black for mine.
