in theory?????
what would need to be done to a tl engine so it can be succesfully mounted in lets say a car type chassis?
dry sump conv? whats needed to do it? could you attatch a drive shaft to the output shaft straight into a diff for lets say rear wheel drive? cheers for any input guys. russ

I'd say you need some kind of transmission dampner like the cush drive on the rear wheel! And I think the load on the output shaft should be the same as on the bike, same direction..

Think the load would be different ... Its taking the load to two fat car wheels instead of one bike wheel

There is a mini racecar series called Legend Cars that uses FJ1100 engines. They mount in the front turned sideways so a driveshaft can mount with a custom u-joint set-up where the countershaft sprocket goes. This drive shaft is connected to a Mustang style solid rear end. There is even a series that uses GSXR1000 engines now. I'd search for them to get a better idea. Otherwise check out the T-Rex too.
