Lots of Busa engines are used in cars ... Theres a cool Smart car with a busa engine in it ... Looks way too much fun.

There's a guy somewhere in my neighborhood (haven't met him yet though), That drives a suzuki mightyboy (a 600kg ute) fitted with a TL motor. From what I hear he used a long chain with some kind of adapted ATV rearend
Supposedly it flies too (for a mightyboy)

Those things sound like a motorcycle with their stock engine
, but man, run those 'quad' tires at 5 psi and they'll go almost ANYWHERE in the mud and shit...a lotta fun .

My old K1200LT touring bike was a popular drivetrain to convert to a 3-wheel car because like the Gold Wing it had reverse.

If you're interested in pursuing this, check out the following:
http://www.edge.au.com/buggies_piranha.htm Back when I thought it was an interesting idea, there was some forum discussion regarding people putting TL's into this chassis. Seems like a great way to spend a ton of cash for something with little resale value. |
