Triples

Looking at changing my forks out to Busas when I change to a riser bar top triple clamp. I would prefer to have the clamps in black and I'm not having much luck finding upper and lower triples that are in black (prefer with the bar clamps, but if not im fine with modding some clamps on there).

suggestions on clamps?

or any suggestions on where to get these anodized or powdercoated (which do you do?) black---> http://www.spieglerusa.com/cfm/sbk.cfm

I'd powdercoat them. Anodizing looks good, but I like powdercoat better. Check in Austin, I'm sure there has to be at least one local shop down there or in San Antonio. It shouldn't cost to much to have them powdercoated either.

Doesn't anodizing take away some material? How would that affect the clamping ability on forks?

+1. I had my triples are PC black. You work w/ the powdercoater to mark all spots which should not be 'painted'.

I don't know if there are triples that fit the TL, are black and have risers (not that they don't exist...just can't answer for ya!)

No, it adds material, but not on a level that you will notice.
maybe .001-.002" on color anodizing and double that for hard coat anodizing.

I like powder coating for frames and swingers, but anodizing for everything else. It resists wear much better.

Anodizing is dying the aluminium itself.. I think you'll have a hard time measuring the increased thickness!
