I am loving the stock suspension already, and the ease of power is off the chart from what im used to!

Don't forget the brakes. Back to back between my old TLR and my buddies 954 is like night and day in the stopping dept. The improved brakes and lower weight really shine. Once moving the TLR does feel a little heavier for turning and such, but stopping is where you really feel the difference...at least I did.

I havent really hit the brakes hard yet. I had some pretty good working stoppers on the S with the EBC kitted front end.

I am getting ready to tear the front end off this bike and sell it. Going to go nekkid with bars for even more leverage and comfort riding. Did a buddies ZX9r over the winter and my god that thing is an absolute blast to ride!

congrats on the new ride. hope you enjoy it.

the only prob i found with my sv650 was the lack of power.. hence i bought a tls.

but for under a grand i had the sv sorted... full zx6r front end and full zx6r rear end (including subframe and swingarm).

i was matching lap times with current gixxer thou's, bikes with nearly 100hp then the sv.... proved nothing cos the sv was so flickable and super responsive on brakes.

the bike is a more then capable machine... shame the stock susp and brakes are not.

cheers.joe.

lovely impression write up
My brother has a k4 650s, I have to agree the 650 has some out of whack suspension, but I can't deny how flickable the bike is, regardless lack of power its still very fun to ride.

On my SV1ks, after i throw on the gixxer 750 front and different gearing, it really satisfied my need and I think I'm going to keep that bike.
